The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)

Established in 1920, APEGA regulates professional engineering and geoscience in Alberta by licensing Professional Engineers, Professional Geoscientists, and Permit Holders. APEGA sets practice standards, codes of conduct, and ethics that govern its Members. Only those licensed with APEGA can practice or use titles relating to engineering and geoscience in Alberta. Professional Engineers and Geoscientists play a significant role in every segment of the economy, and their technical and management expertise ensure Alberta remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Our Connection:

PES has previously been involved with the student liasion committee as well as founded ASEC and Energybowl, both of which involved APEGA. PES will continue to actively engage students with the opportunity to learn more about APEGA as students develop their soft and technicals skills to becoming professionals!
