Anita is in her final year of Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy and Environment and has recently completed an internship at TC Energy. As President for the second year, she looks forward to continue providing students with various opportunities to attend site visits, lunch & learns and conferences. She will continue to shift PES’s focus towards all sources of energy, from oil and gas to renewables, and on newer technologies/processes, such as carbon capture. She strives to ensure PES stays up to date with the direction of the market and how the energy industry is evolving. Anita recognizes that it is up to this generation of students to confront global energy problems and believes PES will provide students with the necessary skills and connections to do so. Anita is formerly a summer student at Atlas BA Consulting Engineering Inc., where she got firsthand experience of the inner workings of the oil and gas industry. She is an ambassador at Water Movement to help build a sustainable future for water, and a Director for the Energy and Environment Engineering Student’s Association. Outside of school, Anita enjoys playing and watching soccer, travelling and paddle boarding
