Vrushti is in her final year pursuing a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management at the University of Calgary. She recently completed her 16-month internship with TC Energy supporting Canada Gas Operations. Vrushti is excited to be joining PES as the Director of Technical Development this year. Her focus is to organize new initiatives such as site visits, lunch and learns, panels and industry mixers with the events team to provide students with valuable opportunities to learn more about the energy industry, foster sustainable engineering practices and spark innovative energy solutions in the community. She is also an active member on the University of Calgary Solar Car Team supporting the Sponsorship and Mechanical teams in the club. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Vrushti enjoys hiking, music, photography, trying new restaurants, racquet sports and spending time in the outdoors.
