Hanson is a third-year Engineering student majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering. As the VP Internal for PES, he aims to 

elevate the quality of the organization's internal operations and communications, as well as to strengthen the sense of community and inclusivity among the members. Hanson has prior exposure and understanding of the Petroleum industry as well as experience working in both the field and office. He also has former experience working in large teams as well as organizing and planning out future events. He is interested in the future of the petroleum industry and wishes to help others better understand the industry as well as its initiatives for adapting to change. In his spare Hanson enjoys travelling, playing basketball and hiking.
