The Petroleum and Energy Society is looking for both mentors and mentees to join our annual mentorship program.  This program connects students and members of the industry, providing a great opportunity for mentors to pass on their experience and for mentees to grow as professionals.

The mentorship program runs from October to April, requiring a time commitment of 2-3 hours a month.  Events will be hosted throughout the year by PES, where mentors and mentees will be given the chance to meet and network with other participants.  We hope you can be a part of this worthwhile opportunity!

Applications for the 2020-2021 Petroleum and Energy Society Mentorship Program are now open! Students in any year and faculty may now apply to be mentees in the program. This is an excellent opportunity to be paired with an industry professional and learn more about the energy industry firsthand. As a mentee, you have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the energy industry and develop as young professionals.

The application form can be found in the info package posted below. Mentee applications are open until October 2, 2020. Please note that space is limited, so apply as soon as possible. A PES membership is required to participate in the program and can be purchased online at pesucalgary.ca. Due to COVID-19, most of this program will be taking place virtually this year.
