The applications of MFHW’s have dominated our industry because of the challenging reservoirs being exploited. IN this low price environment, it has become imperative to aim at production optimization and cut cost. Use of proper engineering techniques to improve well and frac design, including the following:

  1. Well placement in tilted formation

  2. Is “bigger is always better” when selecting the number of frac stages and the frac size?

  3. How to take advantages of the “sweet spots” and quantify the benefits (case study).

  4. How micro-seismic can benefit understanding well performance

  5. Evaluation of well fracability (case study)

  6. New technology in MFHW’
