NACE | Lunch and Learn: Introduction to Coatings

NACE will be coming to campus for our lunch and learn this month. Come learn about corrosion control in the industry and a chance to network with NACE! Presenter: Nicole de Varennes P.L.(Eng.) with IRISNDT - Engineering Bio: Nicole is the lead technical expert on protective coatings, paints and linings for IRISNDT-Engineering, an engineering group that specializes in asset integrity management for a broad range of industries. Nicole has a diploma in Materials Engineering Technology and several NACE corrosion and coatings certifications.

Nicole has a wide variety of experience as a consultant within the coatings industry, including; laboratory qualification testing, custom test method development, coating failure analysis, troubleshooting, specification writing, field and shop inspection and auditing. Pizza and pop will be provided. PES Membership is required.
